The Google Graveyard – All The Projects Google Killed [Infographic]

Alas Google Reader is shutting down today. I really love Reader it’s such a simple and useful product.

I’ve moved over to Feedly now which I am quite impressed by. The social sharing is great though I’m disappointed by the lack of a search function. It’s pretty cool to see how many sites have popped up in the wake of Reader’s demise. There’s always opportunity out there.

I still don’t get this decision by Google but as the infographic below shows us it’s not the first product Google has shut down – and it won’t be last either.

Do you remember the likes of Wave,  Picnik, Zeitgiest and Buzz?

Goodnight Google Reader, you shall be missed!
