Social media takes time. Time that that most digital marketers just don’t have. When there are so many different platforms and so many accounts to deal with (often multiple accounts for each platform!) how do you mange to be effective without wasting your time or just churning out messaging that isn’t engaging?
Pardot have come up with a great infographic explaining how you can max out your time and “rock social media” in just 30 minutes a day. I really like the idea here – breaking up tasks makes everything seem much more possible. There are tips for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Plus and Instagram and each one is broken down into small tasks that should take a few minutes each.
30 minutes? That sounds pretty good to me!
One thing that is essential for all marketers to do is to find out what works and what doesn’t. Spend a little time in Google Analytics to identify your traffic sources.
Check out how long those people are sticking around on your site. Are they engaging? Are they converting? Best of all are they paying!?
Let’s face it, not all social media platforms are appropriate for every business or service. If you can identify which platforms to drop and which ones to focus on you’ll get a much better ROI: return on investment. Whether that’s financial investment or time investment
Take a look below and see if this helps you get the most of your day.
